Hotel Saint Simon offers great potential, but my experience had some ups and downs. The location stands out, right in the vibrant zona rosa with plenty of restaurants and nightlife within walking distance. The friendly staff made a difference, especially Ivan and John, who went out of their way to ensure I felt welcome. My room was clean and cozy, although a bit small for two people. However, the absence of air conditioning was an issue. I struggled with the heat as the windows had to stay open due to the lack of cooling. It got noisy at night from surrounding clubs, which made it tough to sleep. I was also frustrated by the lack of internet access in the room. I had to go to the lobby to connect, which is inconvenient. With these concerns fixed, I would love to return, but until then, I might need to explore other options.

For night owls looking to have a good time
The area is buzzing with bars and restaurants a stone's throw away, perfect for me to unwind after a long day. One night, I stumbled upon a cozy little pub nearby, met some locals, and had an lovely conversation over a few drinks, really connected with the vibe of the place.
It wasn't cheap, but acceptable for the location.

Great breakfast in a bustling location
I really enjoyed my stay thanks to the delicious breakfast, which was the best I had in Colombia, and the cleanliness of the room. The location is perfect with lots of restaurants and shops nearby, and I felt safe wandering around even at night. However, the noise from the surrounding nightlife made it a bit hard to sleep, so perhaps earplugs would be a good idea for light sleepers.
